Data Usage & Tracking Policy

Understanding how CreativeScriptly uses tracking technologies to enhance your learning experience

What Are Tracking Technologies?

When you visit creativescriptly.com, we use various tracking technologies to understand how you interact with our educational platform. Think of these as digital tools that help us see which courses spark your interest and how you navigate through our learning materials.

These technologies include cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking methods that collect information about your browsing patterns. We're not being sneaky about it – this data helps us create better educational experiences and recommend courses that actually match your interests.

Our tracking helps personalize your learning journey while keeping your data secure and respecting your privacy choices.

Types of Tracking We Use

How Tracking Enhances Your Experience

Here's where tracking actually becomes useful for your learning journey. When you spend extra time on a particular coding concept or repeatedly visit certain tutorial sections, our system notices these patterns.

  • Personalized course recommendations based on your current skill level and interests
  • Saved progress across devices so you can switch between your laptop and tablet seamlessly
  • Customized learning pace suggestions when you're moving too quickly or slowly through material
  • Relevant resource suggestions that complement what you're currently studying
  • Early identification of challenging topics where you might benefit from additional support
  • Streamlined navigation that adapts to your preferred learning patterns

Your Control Over Data Collection

You're not stuck with our tracking choices. Most modern browsers give you detailed control over what data gets collected and stored. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all have privacy settings where you can block or limit tracking.

Keep in mind that blocking certain tracking technologies might affect some platform features. For example, without progress tracking, you'll need to manually remember where you left off in each course module.

You can adjust your tracking preferences anytime through your browser settings or by contacting our support team directly.

Data Retention and Storage

We don't keep tracking data indefinitely. Most browsing analytics are automatically deleted after 26 months, while your learning progress and course completion records are maintained for as long as your account remains active.

Technical performance data gets cycled out every 12 months since it's mainly used for immediate troubleshooting and optimization. If you delete your account, we remove associated tracking data within 30 days, though some anonymized analytics might remain for educational research purposes.

Managing Browser Settings

Each browser handles tracking controls differently, but they're usually found in privacy or security settings. Chrome users can access these through Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Other Site Data. Firefox keeps similar controls under Settings > Privacy & Security.

Safari users will find tracking controls in Safari > Preferences > Privacy, while Edge users should look in Settings > Privacy, Search, and Services. Most browsers also offer incognito or private browsing modes that limit tracking by default.

This policy was last updated in January 2025 and reflects our current data collection practices.

Questions About Our Data Practices?

We believe transparency builds trust. If you have specific questions about how we handle your data or want to adjust your tracking preferences, our team is here to help.
